Munnsville Wind Farm
Munnsville
Wind Farm is E.ON’s first New York State project. Consisting of 23 GE
1.5 MW turbines sited on ridges near Munnsville, New York, this project
provides clean, quiet wind power to the Empire State. This wind farm
can power 10,000 homes. Generating this power with wind instead of
fossil fuel avoids 62,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually and
saves millions of gallons of fresh water.
